Economic Development
Assets in Marshall County

The Industrial Development Authority of Marshall County governs an inventory of industrial and business sites and is an agent for marketing industrial buildings throughout the county.

There are available sites in the municipalities of Holly Springs, Byhalia and Potts Camp, each town located along U. S. Highway 78, the proposed route for the I-22 Corridor which runs from Memphis to Birmingham, Atlanta and the East Coast.

In the unincorporated northern part of Marshall County, explosive development of four-lane highways makes a strategic location for industrial and business growth.

U. S. Highway 72, which runs from Memphis to Huntsville and Chattanooga, is a four-lane highway. The new Miss. 302 is a four-lane, connecting Highway 78, Highway 72 and I-55.

The proposed location of I-69, which will run from Canada to Mexico, comes down the left side of IDA's new Chickasaw Trail Industrial Park, creating a triangle of interstate standard highways bounding 2,600 acres of prime business and industrial property.

Holly Springs and Byhalia have existing buildings and sites available. The Marshall County Industrial Development Authority is ready to assist you in finding the location that is right for you and helping to make a smooth transition.
