Since fluctuations in energy markets make precise calculation of utility rates over the long term difficult, the IDA can respond with more accurate estimates on a case by case basis.

Marshall County is served by two major utility companies. Holly Springs Utility Department is owned by the City of Holly Springs. It provides electricity through the TVA. The City owns its gas, water and sewer departments.

The Byhalia Utility Department provides gas, water and sewer and provides utility services for the Chickasaw Trail Industrial Park. Northcentral Electric Power Association provides electrical service for the northern part of Marshall County.
