Marshall County Industrial Development Authority

The Marshall County Industrial Development Authority was created by an act of the Mississippi Legislature to promote development of new business and industry and to work for retention of existing industry.

The IDA is governed by a 13-member board of directors which is made up of appointments by the Marshall County Board of Supervisors and Boards of Aldermen of the county's municipalities.

Through funding approved by the Board of Supervisors, the IDA executive director and staff work full-time in promotion of the county's assets. IDA works closely with business and industrial prospects to provide information and assitance in helping them establish a location in Marshall County.
