Spring Industrial Park Gets Nod

Both houses of the state Legislature have approved measures that will create the Spring Economic Develop­ment Area Industrial Park and extension of natural gas from New Albany to southern areas of Marshall County.

Sen. Bill Stone said the Senate unanimously passed HB1640. It authorizes Marshall County and the City of Holly Springs, through the Marshall County Industrial Develop­ment Authority, to create the new Springs Economic Development Area Indus­trial Park. The park will be situated north and west in the city and westward into the county on both sides of Highway 78. The area will be suitable for large industrial sites.
