Marshall County offers fine golf courses and convenient access to fishing, hunting, picnicking, boating, and camping areas.Sardis Lake, a 10,000-acre lake just a few miles south and west of the county, is a treasure for all kinds of water sports. A sizable portion of the county’s land area is occupied by the Holly Springs National Forest.  Marshall County’s many historic sites provide opportunities to appreciate the unique culture and history of the South.

A much wider range of businesses, cultural events, and entertainment options are available within a 40-minute drive into the Memphis metropolitan area.
